Charmander the Stray Pokémon
Ash, Brock, Misty and Pikachu pass by a Charmander waiting on a rock for someone, while going to the Pokémon Centre. When they arrived a trainer called Damien bragged about how he threw away his Charmander. Immediately they got really mad, and wanted to have a fight, but Nurse Joy stopped them. Later that night, they all went out in the rain to get Charmander.. 
They handed over Charmander to Nurse Joy and saved it just in the nick of time. In the morning, they found out that Charmander ran off, but they had to continue to their journey. Ash, Misty and Brock falls into a trap as Team Rocket comes out taking Pikachu, but Charmander appears and fries them. Damien comes back to pick up Charmander, because of what he saw, but Charmander and Pikachu fry him. Brock lets Ash get Charmander and they leave.
Here Comes the Squirtle Squad
A gang of Squirtle find Team Rocket, but Meowth convinces them to help Team Rocket get Pikachu. Ash and gang soon later finds the squirtle squad and attacks them, but Pikachu gets hurt very badly. Ash gets the Squirtle Squad to let him go out and find Super Potion for Pikachu. He gets help from Officer Jenny to get back, when they get there.. Team Rocket appears and uses flash bombs to scare the Squirtle. Ash then defeats Team Rocket and helps the Squirtle Squad. The town then awards the Squirtle Squad, and the Squad Leader decides to join Ash's group.
Mystery of the Lighthouse
Ash finds a Krabby and decides to capture it to show that he could catch Pokémon without his own Pokémon's help, and successfully does. He wanted to check on his Krabby so he finds a lighthouse and goes in. He finds out that his Krabby was ok and Bill, a researcher lived there. Team Rocket also decides to pop in to snatch some Pokémon, but finds a huge legendary Pokémon Bill was talking about. They immediately attacked it, as the Pokémon sadly left. Bill then stays there and waits for the Pokémon to return as Ash and the others continue their journey.
Electric Shock Showdown
They arrive at Vermillion City and to the gym right after they left the Pokémon Centre to battle Lt. Surge and his Pokémon, Raichu. 
Pikachu gets beaten, and ends up in the Pokémon Centre. Nurse Joy suggests Pikachu to evolve to a Raichu with a Thunderstone, but Pikachu refuses. Ash then teaches Pikachu a new move and goes to the gym. Pikachu then uses its new move AGILITY to dodges Raichu's attacks, in the end Raichu uses up all its electricity so Pikachu wins. Ash recieves a Thunderbadge and gets congradulated.
Battle Aboard the St.Anne
The big luxurious ships surrounded them, as they arrived at the dock area. Two girls (which was Team Rocket in disguse)came up to them and offered them tickets aboard the St.Anne. And since they were free, they gladly accepted the tickets and went in.
On the ship, Ash goes to battle a Pokémon Trainer with a Raticate using his Butterfree, and Ash decides to trade his with the other guy's because the guy felt like trading. As they were doing that, James gets tricked by a guy by selling him a Magikarp using both his and Jessie's salary. Team Rocket starts the attack on the passengers on the ship, sucking up all their Pokémon. But Ash and the passengers instead defeat Team Rocket with their combined power. Ash trades for his Butterfree back, but the strong waves flip the ship over leaving Ash, Brock, Misty and Team Rocket stuck unconcious in the ship!
Pokémon Shipwreak
Team Rocket finds Ash and the others but holds a truce until they leave the ship. Misty, who seemed to know where everything in the St. Anne was, brought them out. They find themselves on a floating raft, but starting to starve after days. James kicks the useless Magikarp away as it evolves into a Gyarados. The evolved Magikarp, Gyarados, calls its other Gyarados mates as they use Dragonrage and attack them. They get swept into the water hurricane, spinning uncontrollably...
The Island of the Giant Pokémon
Ash wakes up, and finds that most of his Pokémon went missing. While Team Rocket was waken up by a Krabby, also notices that their Pokémon are gone too. The lost Pokémon also go in a search to find their trainers. On their search, they encounter various pokémon, jumbo-sized! Later they reunite on a mine cart with no breaks, and fly off the track, into a Giant Zapdos. Then they realize that the pokémon in the island are all mechanical! Later they find themselves in the seaside city of Porta Vista.
Tentacool and Tentacruel
The group misses the ferry to the mainlands, so they have to wait at Porta Vista till the next ferry comes in.
A Horsea appears and tries to warn Ash, Brock and Misty about the Tentacruel and Tentacool.. but suddenly a boat at sea blows up! They help the people in the boat, soon later they were asked to visit Nastina, a really rich hag to destory the tentacruel and tentacool because they were destorying her new hotel in the middle of the ocean. But Misty refuses to help so they all leave.. Later Team Rocket comes to accept the job but instead they enlarged a tentacruel with their weird suppose-to-kill-tentacool stuff. They start to break down the city... Ash tries to battle it, but fails.. while Misty and Horsea try to reason with Tentacruel. They finally agree not to break down the city, but the citizens also promise not to ruin theirs either.
The Ghost of Maiden's Peak
They arrive at a place that just started the summer end festival.. James and Brock fall in love with the statue of a maiden at a rock. At the festival they also mention about a girl that waited for her loved one, 2000 years ago but soon enough she turned into stone. An old lady suddenly appears and warns Ash and his friends about the bad luck the maiden will bring to them. They soon realize that the ghost was a gastly, they try to battle it but they get defeated. The sun soon rises as gastly disappears, telling them that it will return.
Bye Bye Butterfree
The group soon find a place where many Butterfree gathered together to mate. Ash decides that his butterfree should find a mate too, so Ash's Butterfree flutters around to look for a mate and spots a pink butterfree. But the pink butterfree ignores Ash's butterfree. Team Rocket suddenly appears and tries to steal all the Butterfree! Ash's Butterfree saves all the butterfree, and especially the Pink butterfree. Then the pink buttefree falls in love with Ash's butterfree, so they finally have to leave in the end anyway. Ash waves farewell, as he thinks of how he caught Caterpie, then it evolved into Metapod and lastly to Butterfree. The group waves, with wet eyes, as Butterfree disappears in the sunset.
