The Ultimate Test
Ash wanted to show his real strength so Snap decided to take the test to enter the Pokémon League. Ash went, signed up and took the test. He wasn't too successful since the questions were kinda hard. The last test was to battle against another trainer with some pokémon of the exam guy's. Since he didn't know which ones he got, he was surprised to find out that his Pokémon were exactly like Team Rocket's (Arbok, Weezing and Meowth). He won the first round but lost the others so he still didn't pass. Team Rocket also signed up but was in disguise, they then turned their back on the Exam Man and decided to battle. They got beat up and blasted off again while the test had to be canceled. Ash decided that it would be easier if he went around to collect the badges instead. And so he did, soon he left leaving Meowth with Mr. Exam Man, or so Team Rocket called them.
The Breeding Centre Secret
Snap/Todd was taking pictures of Togepy when a commerical appeared on the big screen advertising for a Breeding Centre. So they decided to go check it out, while Misty registered Psyduck in since she thought Psyduck was useless anyway. Then they passed by a restaurant which had an all-you-can-eat buffet if you showed the chef who his favourite Pokémon is. They soon found out his favourite Pokémon was PSYDUCK! Misty got so mad and ran back to the Pokémon Breeding Centre to ask for her psyduck back. The store was closed so she snuck in the back door (with the others of course). They entered a room which was stacked with poor Pokémon in cages. Snap decided to take pictures of the place and then show it to the police, but the people of the Breeding Centre saw some flashes. Meanwhile, Team Rocket snuck in to steal some Pokémon but was found by Ash and gang. The Breeding Centre people soon came in and found them. The Breeding People soon identified themselves as TEAM ROCKET ALSO! Team Rocket (Cassidy and Butch) did their motto, similar to Jessie, James and Meowth's but a little different. Ash and gang tried to run but were caught except Misty, Pikachu and Togepy. Snap's film was also taken away, and soon they were taken by the police. Misty went back to the Breeding Centre to get Psyduck, while Pikachu snuck in to get the film. They then brought it to the police and brought Ash and group out and framed Team Rocket of the Breeding Centre. Snap then had to leave because he had another path to follow.
Princess VS Princess
The group decides to join the Princess Day fun. Princess Day is when females have their day off and do whatever they want. While the males have to help the females and pay for them, etc. (sorta like being a slave for a day). After Jessie shopped for a while, they stopped for a rest in a park. A wild Likitung came out from the bushes and started to eat Jessie's food that she bought for the boss. She got mad so she started to battle and caught it. When Misty and Jessie were fighting over a dress, they also decided to test their skill to see which one is a better female. The Princess Contest comes up, so the two decide to see who is better from the contest to be the Queen of the Princess Contest. Misty borrowed Ash and Brock's Pokémon while Jessie borrowed Meowth, and James's Pokémon. There were two divisions, Misty was in the first and Jessie was in the second. The two battled until they were in the finals. The last battle was between them both to win the prize: A one-in-the-whole-world Pokémon Doll Set and take a picture with Feerello Cappuccino. Jessie was victorious with her Likitung until Misty used her Psyduck. Psyduck wasn't effected by the licks Likitung did so it used Confusion and Likitung with the Rocket gang got blasted off again. Misty then sends the Dolls back to Cerulean City to her sisters to make them jealous. James and Meowth dressed themselves as dolls to cheer Jessie up.
The Puur-fect Hero
Childrens Day arrive as the three trainers decide to be a kid again and have fun. They pass by a Nursery which needed Pokémon Trainers and their Pokémon to play with the children, since the other trainers couldn't make it. Everyone agreed to help out but one child, Timmy, didn't want to play with their Pokémon. Timmy only wanted to play with a Meowth because a wild Meowth saved him before. But just then Team Rocket drives in the nursery as magicians to steal Pikachu. They put Pikachu in a box and outcame Meowth (which was the trick). Weezing attacked with some more smoke, as Team Rocket tried to run for it. Timmy tripped over the box as Pikachu came out, but instead Timmy fell in. When Team Rocket has left successfully, they soon find out that Timmy was in the box instead of Pikachu. Timmy then saw Meowth and tried to explain to it that it was the person who saved him before. Meowth then decided to be a hero and pretended to be a Meowth that couldn't speak. When they went back to the Nursery, Meowth was caught by Misty. Meowth then ran for it as the others followed. Team Rocket soon led them to a dead end where they battled. A boulder soon started to roll down as Timmy trips, but the wild Meowth that saved him before saves him again. Team Rocket then rolls off as Timmy decides to be a Pokémon Trainer with his Meowth when he grows up.
Riddle Me This
Ash, Brock and Misty finally get a ship to Cinnabar Island but meets Gary there, unaware Jigglypuff following close behind. When they arrive an old guy gives them his business card showing that he owns an Inn and giving them a big bunch of riddles. Later that day, they look everywhere but there was no Gym nor any room to stay for the night. So Misty soon figured out the riddle and led them to the old man's Inn. There, they bathed in the Hot Springs as Togepy accidentally opens a hidden passage way. They enter the hidden passage way and soon finds themselves in a gym. The old man appears with another riddle and explains that he's Blane! Ash and Blane battle... Blane uses Ninetales as Ash uses Squirtle. Squirtle gets fried as Ash uses Charizard, but Charizard ignores his orders. Ash's last hope was Pikachu while Blane uses Rhydon. They kick Rhydon's butt as Blane then uses Magmar. Magmar uses Fire Punch continuously at Pikachu as Pikachu is hopeless to fight back. Magmar then finishes Pikachu off with Fire Blast attack.. What shall Pikachu do?
Volcanic Panic
Contiuing from before.. Pikachu is going to be burnt and will fall into the lava if Pikachu doesn't do something quick. Pikachu then ducks and saves itself luckily. Magmar continues beating Pikachu as Ash decides to forfiet. After Ash heals his Pokémon, they decide to battle Blane soon again. Team Rocket finds the hidden passage way and enters to steal Magmar. They use some ice missles to try to freeze Magmar but fails. They then go crazy and shoot everywhere. The volcano's rocks, of where the gym is, starts to melt but melts too fast which start to crack. The place starts to crack up as Ash, Blane and group arrive a little bit after. The lava starts pouring out of the cracks so Blaine orders Magmar to try to stop the lava by putting rocks over it. Ash asks Charizard to help out but it doesn't. Soon later Charizard helps out because he saw how hard Magmar worked. They and other Pokémon help out and finish in the nick of time. Ash demands a rematch but since the gym was demolished they would battle ontop of the volcano. Charizard, from the strength and power he saw from Magmar, battles with it. The battle starts as they try to flame each other, into the lava and soon enough, Charizard gets Magmar all dizzy and throws him from the sky and into the volcano. Magmar jumps back up but faints. Ash wins his Volcano badge as they head to Viridian City for his last badge.
Blastoise Blank-Out Blackout
The last boat from Cinnabar Island leaves without them, but as they were catching up to the boat, Ash trips over a Wartortle. He uses Squirtle to talk with Wartortle and since Ash didn't know what they were talking about, Wartortle and Squirtle suddenly jump into the water and swim rapidly. Ash and gang decide to find out what went wrong and followed them. They soon arrived at a island shaped like a Squirtle's shell and landed. All the squirtle, wartortle and blastoise are all asleep. Ash, surprised when he saw the Blastoise, runs over to it to meet it, since he always wanted to meet one himself but Ash soon falls asleep unexpectedly. Squirtle listens too and falls asleep so Pikachu wakes up all the Squirtle, Wartortle and Ash with an electric alarm clock. They all explain to Ash and group that they found Blastoise sleeping in the water when Blastoise went out for a swim and when they pulled them back in but they all fell asleep. They wake Blastoise up but tells them it has something stuck in its canon. Squirtle goes to poke at it to see what was wrong and found a pink thing sticking out but soon, everyone falls asleep. Team Rocket comes and tries to take Blastoise and successfully does as the rest of the "good guys" wake up and go find Blastoise. the Wartortle and Squirtle find Team Rocket's Gyarados submarine and pulls them back up to shore. They wake up Blastoise by using Pikachu's electricity and Squirtle's water. Team Rocket attacks the Wartortle and Squirtle as Jigglypuff flies out of Blastoise's canon and into the Gyarados mouth. Blastoise picks up the Gyarados Submarine and chocks it back in the water. Ash gets Squirtle to save Jigglypuff but everyone falls asleep again when it sang.
The Misty Mermaid
Misty's Horsea was not in the best of shape so they went to Cerulean City to let Horsea swim in the Cerulean City swimming pool. So Misty calls her sisters on the phone before they journey there. When they arrive her sisters announce that Misty will be the main character in a underwater ballet. Her sisters explain that after Misty called, they advertised for a underwater ballet about a mermaid returning home because they were not popular anymore. Misty agrees to do the part as her sisters play the others. Team Rocket soon figures out a plan to capture all the water Pokemon in the show. When the performance started, Team Rocket tied up Misty's two sisters and took their part as the bad guy. Misty, Brock and Ash, shocked to see Team Rocket instead of Misty's sisters go and try to stop Team Rocket. Ash and Brock dive into the water soon after Team Rocket did. Misty battles Team Rocket with the underwater Pokémon while Team Rocket uses Arbok (since the other Pokémon can't battle underwater). The audience, which doesn't notice any difference in the show, continues to watch contentively. Seel, the sister's Pokémon battles Arbok by itself, and soon evolves into Dewgong. Dewgong then freezes Arbok and Team Rocket as the rest of them swim out. Ash finishes it off with Pikachu electrifying the whole pool for the grand finale. Team Rocket then flies off again as the crowd cheers wildly. After the performance, all of Misty's sisters have their own show back boosting their fame. Misty's sisters decide to do the underwater ballet again but needed more Pokémon so Misty left Horsea with them. They soon continue their journey to Viridian City.
Clefairy Tales
Jigglypuff happily sings and walks in the forest as a big starship crashes in front of it. In the morning we find out heros eating ice cream and suddenly a clefairy appears in front of them. Misty decides to catch it as they all follow leaving their stuff behind. When they return, all their things were gone so they report it to Officer Jenny but when they arrived a big crowed of other people were also reporting stolen stuff. A scientist (which acts as crazy as Seimore does) explains his theory that aliens have been stealing all of it. The heros and the scientist decide to go search for the alien ship as a space ship lands in front of them in alien form, takes Pikachu and leaves. Ash sees a rope connected to the spaceship, so he uses Pidgeotto to cut it. A clefairy appears and takes Pikachu, as Jigglypuff appear suddenly. They all decide to follow the Clefairy, all the way down underground. They soon find a big spaceship of Clefairy working on the spaceship. Ash and Misty run into the spaceship for Pikachu, as the scientist following close behind. Brock then returns to the surface to tell Officer Jenny. Ash, Misty and the Scientist find Pikachu alright but the Clefairy creates a wall. Jigglypuff then battles all the clefairy by pounding and double slapping them. Jigglypuff then jumps off with the scientist following, as Ash and Misty try to get Pikachu out of the glass cage. Meanwhile, Jigglypuff and the scientist get to the bridge aka. control room and finds the leader. Jigglypuff battles the leader Clefairy furiously for its pen/microphone back. The scientist finds the pen, as Jigglypuff jumps over to grab it. Jigglypuff starts singing as the ship starts to move. Pikachu's signal was given for Pikachu was stolen for its electricity to move the ship. Pikachu's electric was too powerful and breaks the glass as Ash and Misty go to the exit. They were already in the air as they approach a skyscaper while the stolen things were dropped down to the people. Ash then uses Bulbasaur's vinewhip to whip them down safely. The ship continues flying but then crashes again somewhere else as they invade the place to rebuild their ship once again.
Battle of the Badge
The gang finally arrive at Viridian City and towards the gym. Gary then appears showing off his 10 badges and enters the gym before Ash gets a chance to. Ash, all sad gets comforted by Togepy but accidentally tosses it up the gym roof. While back inside the gym, Giovanni, leader of Team Rocket battles with Gary. Gary wins alright with his Nidoking and Arcanine while Giovanni used Kingler and Golem. Giovanni then brings out a mysterious pokémon to see how it battles. Gary, astonished by its powers then faints. Back outside, Misty going crazy without Togepy goes to look for it. Team Rocket lurks in a building rooftop to find Ash's Pikachu comes across Togepy. Togepy just jumps off to another building by a wooden board. Jessie goes to grab it but the wooden board breaks as she falls but James and Meowth miss catching her. Togepy then jumps down happily but Team Rocket grabs it. Team Rocket immediately goes to Giovanni to show him a rare new Pokémon. Givovanni not surprised at the worthless Togepy gets an emergency call suddenly. Giovanni then passes the Gym Leader job to Team Rocket and leaves doing something with that mysterious Pokémon. Ash and gang hears Togepy from within the gym as they open the door. They find Gary fainted on the floor as he explains about this mysterious new evil Pokémon. Team Rocket then appears, as Ash decides to battle them. Ash was going to lose with Bulbasaur and Squirtle but he fought back with Pidgeotto and Pikachu while Team Rocket used Machamp, Kingler, Rhydon, Weezing and Arbok. Ash wins the battle with Pikachu finishing the job off, but Team Rocket wasn't willing to give him the badge. Togepy finds a controller that would blow up the gym, but it didn't know so it still pushed the buttons. The gym started to fall apart as Team Rocket flies off but the Earth badge falls. Ash catches the badge and leaves the gym with the rest of them. Ash, Brock and Misty continue their journey but not knowing where the Pokémon League is so they decide to go see Prof. Oak first.
