The Problem with Paras
Ash, Brock and Misty arrive at Lost Green Village, but the village was so small, it didn't have it's own gym.
They were low in supplies so they had to drop by anyway. Close by, Team Rocket gets ready to capture Pikachu again, but Meowth caught a fever. A girl passes by and helps Meowth. Meowth, feeling all better, falls in love with the girl because no one cared about it before. Ash and group finds a potion shop and was going to buy some potion, but the girl asks them to battle her Paras first. Ash accepted and battled her Paras, but he used very light attacks for Paras was weak. Even if Ash did use weak attacks, Paras kept getting beaten. Ash uses Charmeleon, but scares off Paras into the forest. Meowth decides to help the girl and soon be her mascot to get $$, so Team Rocket helps Paras evolve. Their strategy was to pretend to be defeated in battle, so soon later Paras was pumped up and went to battle Ash again. Ash gave Charmeleon another try, and Paras somehow defeated Charmeleon with the help of Team Rocket's cheer. The girl thanked Team Rocket, but soon they found out that they had a mascot already (A Persian).
The Song of Jigglypuff
They find Neon Town after the tiring journey through the desert, where all the people are cranky because of little sleep. They decide to leave the town for a while and go through the forest. They find a Jigglypuff sitting on a stump, so Misty asks it to sing but it didn't want to. Team Rocket's plan for this episode was to take Jiggypuff and sing to Neon Town, taking all the PKMN they could grab. They do a song, but gets defeated by Ash, Brock and Misty. Brock offers Jigglypuff a fruit to heal its throat, and so Jigglypuff sang... But soon after the song, Ash and the group falls asleep! Jigglypuff, enraged, takes a pen and starts drawing on everyone's faces, even Team Rockets'(who were thinking of recording its voice). The group wakes up, rubbing off the ink, and tried their Pokémon to see if they would sleep.. But sadly they all slept. Their last idea was to sing to Neon Town to get all the people to sleep. ANd so they did, Jigglypuff sang to Neon Town. Everyone woke up, feeling all cheery and happy, as the group starts their journey again, not knowing Jigglypuff was just right behind them.
Attack of The Prehistoric Pokémon
They soon find themselves in Grandpa Canyon where many people were digging for fossils. Gary shows up, showing off, but soon gets embarrased for what he has found (fossil poop). The gang soon finds Team Rocket blowing up the canyon, so they try to stop them. Instead, Pikachu makes a mistake and electrifies the dymamite, which makes a big kaboom! Team Rocket, Ash and Pikachu fall into a hole as the top of the hole gets covered up with rocks. They find extint Pokémon (Omastar, Omamyte, Kabuto, and Kabutops) and started attacking them. Aerodactyl soon comes out, as Ash takes out CHarmeleon. Charmeleon gets hit by Aerodactyl, as Aerodactyl grabs Ash. Charmeleon starts to steam up and evolve into Charizard! Charizard starts chasing after Aerodactyl, while below, Jigglypuff was asked to sing. Aerodactyl falls, dropping Ash on Charizard, and back into the hole as it gets covered up again. Ash falls and wakes up finding an egg. Meanwhile.. Team Rocket is still down there with the prehistoric Pokémon!
A Chansey Operation
While taking a rest from their journey, Pikachu got something stuck in its throat. The gang rushes to a hospital instead of a Pokémon Centre (because it was too far) and asks the doctor to help. The doctor finally agrees and helps while a phone call comes concerning an accident that happened that needed the hospital's help. They said that the Pokémon Centre was too full, so all the Pokémon were brought in and nursed. Team Rocket decided to help since their Pokémon were injured also, but after they decided to be mean again. They got Ash and gang in a Stretcher Catcher, but the doctor came and scared them away with his medical tools. The gang say bye after the long day of hard work.
Holy Matrimony
A poster read "missing" for that a child was missing which looked similar to James. An old man came and took them back to his mansion to discuss the missing child. They found out that the missing child's, James, passed away and needed James to return to retrieve his part of his inheritance. After what Team Rocket has heard, they demand James to get the money. James's parents come out of their coffins when James arrives and tells him to marry Jessibell (an exact copy of JESSIE). Jessibell throws the others outside, leaving James with her getting tortured. The others outside hear some noises, so they open up the dog house as a Growlithe jumps out and goes to save James! Jessie and Meowth slowly walk to the sunset thinking about how lucky James is. As James comes unexpectedly in a hotair balloon and picks them up. James decides to stay with Team Rocket, as Ash and group is being chased by Jessibell!
So Near Yet So Farfetch'd
Resting from their long journey once again, Ash and Brock goes to refill their water containers.
Misty spots a Farfetch'd, a rare Pokémon and tries to capture it but crashes into a boy on the way. Misty looses track of where Farfetch'd went so she goes back to where they rested. Ash and Brock comes back as Misty starts crying because her bag was full of rocks, not her Pokémon. She freaks out and goes to find the boy who took her bag! They report this incident to Officer Jenny, but she says that it wasn't the first. After the shocking news, Team Rocket also gets tricked. WHere the boy and his Farfetch'd were hiding, Psyduck came out of its Pokéball and walks away. Misty finds Psyduck and it leads them to the boy. Team Rocket also come but gets tricked twice in a row: The boy gave them a bag full of Voltorb that used explosion, but back to the boy. Ash and gang challenged the boy and his Farfetch'd, but gets defeated while Misty uses her Psyduck. As Psyduck uses its powerful psychic attacks with his fearsome headache! The boy learns his lesson and returns all the Pokémon he has stole. He starts all over again with his Farfetch'd!
Who Gets to Keep Togepy?
Professor Oak tells Ash to upgrade his PokéDex, and so he did.
Team Rocket soon discovers the egg and snatch it from them. The group went to look for them, while Meowth was taking all its valuable time taking care of the egg. They soon find a shack and kick in to get the egg back. Weezing let out some gas out making the place all smokey, while everyone was grabbing for the egg. Finally Pikachu catches the egg and hands it to Ash as the egg starts to crack. Misty, who wanted to get a closer look, took it away from Ash as it hatched. Meowth demanded a battle for Togepy, and so they did. Ash won but Misty still kept Togepy because Togepy thinks Misty is its mother!
Bulbasaur and the Mysterious Garden
After a battle between Ash's Bulbasaur and a guy's Rhyhorn, Bulbasaur's bulb starts to flash. Ash didn't know what the problem was so he brought Bulbasaur to the Pokémon Centre immediately. Nurse Joy told Ash not to worry because Bulbasaur was just getting ready to evolve. That night, Bulbasaur went out for some fresh air as Pikachu went out to acompany it. A bunch of Bulbasaur came out and grabbed Bulbasaur to the mysterious garden Nurse Joy mentioned. Pikachu got the others to wake up and lead them to the garden. Many Bulbasaurs were gathered there, as the main event came. Venusaur came out as all the Bulbasaur evolved except Ash's Bulbasaur. Venusaur was mad and was going to attack Bulbasaur but Ash came and got hit instead. Team Rocket comes in their balloon and sucks up all the Ivysaur. Bulbasaur uses Solarbeam and destorys the balloon and saved the Ivysaur. Venusaur let Bulbasaur not evolve since it didn't want to.
The Case of the K-9 Caper
Ash and gang get invited to the police station and explains their training of Growlithes. Ash decides that Pikachu should get trained too so they tried but it wasn't successful. Team Rocket comes and sprays some gas so everyone can't smell and their voices change. Team Rocket also uses some microphones that imitate other people's voices so they demanded Growlithe to attack them. Ash used Pikachu to electric shock them, but it soon became tired. Growlithe was then ordered to attack Officer Jenny, but Growlithe soon found out that that was the real Officer Jenny. So Officer Jenny then ordered the Growlithe to attack Team Rocket so they run off again!
Pokémon Paparazzi
Ash spots something in the bushes while Brock was making his delcious "rice balls". Ash uses Squirtle to get the guy out of the bushes come out. That guy introduces himself as Snap and tells them about his photographs. Then Snap keeps trying to take pictures of Pikachu, but Pikachu always gets nervous and shocks Snap or either Ash pulls Pikachu away. Then Snap remembers about the two old seniors that came to his place one day and begged him to 'capture' Pikachu before they pass away. Little did he know, the two seniors and their pet cat were Team Rocket in disguese and have misread a magazine article wrong! They thought snap was to capture Pikachu not capture Pikachu on film! While the group was walking down the path, they fall down a trap made by Team Rocket. Snap goes to save them, as the floor below started to crack, but Ash and Pikachu falls into a river dam. Snap quickly jumps down and grabs ahold of Ash's hand as Pikachu gets taken by Team Rocket. But Team Rocket gets tricked by Ash and uses Bulbasaur teach them a lesson! Pikachu returns to Ash safely as Snap gladly takes a group picture.
